Jean Baderschneider joined Mobil in June 1983. Prior to coming to Mobil she was a university professor, arbitrator, and consultant. Her first assignment was in the Paulsboro Refinery in New Jersey. For the next seven years she carried out numerous assignments in refining, marketing, and corporate headquarters in New York. Baderschneider then worked as an Area Executive in Upstream covering sites outside the United States. From 1994 to 1996 she coled a major restructuring of services in Mobil. Following this reorganization, she became Vice President of Procurement. She was appointed to her current position, Vice President, Global Procurement, during the company’s merger with Exxon in 1999.
